September 22-28, 2019
Banned Books Week is an annual event celebrating the freedom to read. It spotlights current and historical attempts to censor books in libraries and schools. Join us in the COM Library for the following events throughout the week:
 
Rebel Readers: Celebrate Banned Books Week in the Library

Join us during COMmunity Hour for a Banned Books reading, photo booth, coloring session, prizes, and more!

Not familiar with books that have been banned? We’ll have them on display in the Library! Stop in, get your COM Library card if you haven’t already, and exercise your uncensored right to read. We’ll have bookmarks and stickers available from the American Library Association!
