Anita Gail Jones is a visual artist, professional storyteller and writer, born and raised in Albany, Georgia and lives in Northern California. Her debut novel, The Peach Seed, was a 2021 Top Ten Finalist in the PEN/Bellwether Prize for Socially Engaged Fiction. Join us to hear Anita Gail Jones discuss this multigenerational novel that explores the origins of a South Georgia family’s tradition and how its modern-day sons and daughters struggle the legacies of America’s Civil Rights Movement.
