Library Textbook Program

The librarians at COM have a solution to help with some of the more expensive textbooks. By partnering with faculty, staff, administrators, and your ASCOM representatives, the Library is now able to offer a lending copy of the proper textbook at no cost to students who enroll in the courses listed below.

Here's how it works. Simply enroll in one of these sections and you will be eligible to pick up a copy of the textbook at the beginning of the semester:

  • August 18 (Tuesday): 10am – 2pm
  • August 20 (Thursday): 10 am – 4pm
  • August 24 (Monday): 10 am – 4pm
  • August 25 (Tuesday): 10 am – 2pm
  • August 26 (Wednesday): 10 am – 2pm
  • August 27 (Thursday): 10 am – 4pm
  • Starting Tuesday, September 1: Any remaining LTP pickups will be conducted via curbside appointment from Fusselman Hall (FH). Please call (415) 485-9656 to schedule a time.

If you drop the course before the end of fall semester, please return the textbook to the blue book drop in front of the Health Services portable in Parking Lot 6 (open 24/7) as soon as possible. If you finish the course, you can return the book on or before the last day of the semester, December 18, 2020. We will provide details on end-of-semester textbook returns closer to that time. Terms and conditions apply. If you have any questions or concerns, you may reach our friendly librarians by email at or by telephone at 415.845.0536.
