Library Textbook Program

December 16th, 2020 - 4:18pm

The librarians at COM have a solution to help with some of the more expensive textbooks. By partnering with faculty, staff, administrators, and your ASCOM representatives, the Library is now able to offer a lending copy of the proper textbook at no cost to students who enroll in the courses listed below.

Here's how it works. Simply enroll in one of the courses below and you will be eligible to pick up a copy of the textbook at the beginning of the semester. If you drop the course before the end of the semester, please return the textbook as soon as possible. If you finish the course, you can return the book on or before the last day of the semester. Check this page for dates and locations for picking up and returning textbooks. Terms and conditions apply. If you have any questions or concerns, you may reach our friendly librarians by email at or by telephone at 415.845.0536.

Returning Fall 2020 LTP Textbooks

Please return LTP textbooks to the book drop in Parking Lot 6 on the Kentfield Campus. The book drop is located near Health Services (HS) and it’s bright blue. If that book drop appears full, we have another book drop near the entrance to Fusselman Hall (FH). That book drop is silver. Both book drops are open 24/7.

Picking Up Spring 2021 LTP Textbooks

To pick up the textbook for your Spring 2021 LTP class, please contact the library to schedule a time for curbside pickup from Fusselman Hall (FH). You can call us at (415) 485-9656, or email us at You will be asked to provide the name of the course, instructor, CRN (six-digit code), and your M00 number.

We will begin distributing Spring semester textbooks on Thursday, January 21 from the main entrance to Fusselman Hall (FH) on the Kentfield Campus (KTD). We recommend parking in Lot 6, 9, or 3. Spring semester textbook pickup will be available:
