Good news: The College of Marin Library recently set up free and unlimited access to The San Francisco Chronicle, The Marin Independent Journal, and hundreds of local and regional newspapers from around the world through a database called NewsBank. We are also thrilled to introduce Black Life in America, NewsBank’s collection of news from 1704 to the present on topics related to African Americans, including over 400 current and historical Black publications, and Spanish Newspapers, NewsBank’s collection of 192 Spanish language newspapers from the USA, Latin America and Europe.

The College of Marin Library continues to have online access to hundreds of major newspapers, including: The New York Times (two ways: for pleasure and for research), The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Los Angeles Times, The Chicago Tribune, and The Chronicle of Higher Education through our databases SuperSearch and ProQuest US Major Dailies.
