The College of Marin’s The 1619 Project capstone featured legendary scholars Dr. Angela Davis and Dr. Robyn Spencer in conversation about abolition, gender & the Black radical tradition. The evening kicked off with music by Kash Killion and poetry by Tongo Eisen-Martin. The event honored the college’s yearlong work with The 1619 Project by Nikole Hannah-Jones. A reception followed.
