Legendary Graphic Artist Emory Douglas shares pre-digital design and art production techniques used to develop his iconic political images and used in making the Black Panther newspaper. Dr. Douglas was the Veteran Revolutionary Artist and Minister of Culture for the Black Panther Party and continues to make social justice-themed artwork today. Participants will get hands-on experience; all materials will be provided.
This event is open to all College of Marin students. No art experience is required. Space is limited. Apply here.
