Are you prepared to vote in the June 2, 2026, Primary Election? Join the COM Library and the League of Women Voters of Marin County for a watch party of the April 28, 2026, California Governor Debate. The debate was held at Pomona College’s Bridges Auditorium. Moderators included veteran CBS journalists Pat Harvey, Tony Lopez, Julie Watts, and Ryan Yamamoto, along with Pomona College political science professor Sara Sadhwani. Candidates discussed key issues shaping California’s future, including public safety, housing, and the economy. Questions were guided by a CBS News poll of California voters and input from college students.
The League of Women Voters is proud to be nonpartisan, neither supporting nor opposing candidates or political parties at any level of government but always working on vital issues of concern to members and the public.
