What is it like to live in a country where you can’t vote? Or maybe you can vote, but your vote is meaningless or practically meaningless. Several College of Marin students and faculty/staff from countries like Peru, Haiti, Argentina and others will share their stories of voting. These speakers will explain how hard it was [is] to vote in their home countries. Come learn about voting around the world. As the United States prepares to vote, join us to learn about the process of democracy, or lack of it, in other countries.
Free and open to everyone! Refreshments provided!
