Welcome! The Center for Student Success (CSS) has sixteen group study rooms:;
- Fourteen small group study rooms include seating for five.
- Two large group study rooms include seating for ten.
All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen monitor for presentations, cables to connect devices, a whiteboard with markers and erasers, a table, and flexible seating. Technology instructions are provided in each room.
Who Can Reserve Group Study Rooms
- Reservations are available for current College of Marin students and employees.
- Rooms are for group use and not for individuals. A group is defined as two or more.
- Rooms can be reserved up to one week in advance for two hours per day and four hours per week using your @mycom.marin.edu or @marin.edu email address.

How to Reserve a Group Study Room
- The reservation system is LibCal: https://marin.libcal.com/reserve/CSS.
- You will see green boxes for available reservation times. Red boxes indicate that a room is already reserved.
- ​​​If you do not see availability, click "Next Available."
- If you click "Go To Date" and do not see availability, use the arrows to scroll to open hours.
- Click on the room name to view a photo and directions to locate the room.
- Click the green boxes to select the room and time you would like to book. The box will turn red. Then, click the blue "Submit Times" button at the bottom of the page.
- Review the information on the next page and click the blue "Continue" button.
- Enter your first and last name and COM email address. Then, click the blue "Submit my Booking" button.
- You will receive a confirmation email in your COM email from LibCal.
- If you need to cancel your booking, please see the link in your confirmation email from LibCal.
- You do not need to check in for your reservation; simply enter the room.
