The College of Marin was thrilled to welcome Isabel Allende on thursday, May 12, 2022! The evening began with students in the COM Drama Department performing an excerpt from The Stories of Eva Luna, dramatized and directed by instructor Erin McBride Africa. Following the performance, Ms. Allende was interviewed on stage by COM English professor, Dave King, including questions from the audience.
This was a night to remember: a celebration of Isabel Allende, of Spanish, of Latinx cultures, of feminism, of democracy, and of bilingual, immigrant, and refugee families!
