Join English instructors and the library for a little poetry and refreshments. All students, faculty, and staff are warmly welcome as we read some of Ada Limón's poems together. There are many ways to participate:
- No preparation is needed: just come and enjoy!
- Recommend one of Ada Limón's for us to read and discuss!
- Volunteer to read one of Ada Limón's poems yourself!
- Volunteer to read your poetry inspired by her work!
Ada Limón is the US Poet Laureate. She grew up in Sonoma, and she's the first Latina US Poet Laureate. She'll be coming to the College of Marin on Thursday, March 13, 2025, and Professor Erin McBride Africa will direct a play inspired by her poetry.
